HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Just a quick (and lame) doodle to celebrate! :D At first, I wanted to draw a mouse, and then I went on to write Chinese, and then I started writing the "cursive" Chinese that my parents and relatives back in China use....

...and it resulted in this FAIL (it's very unepic). XD

It's ok. It was fun writing each word in one stroke. ahhaha.

...my mother is watching the special airing thing that they have every new year. ahhahahah. it's pretty cool, actually. :)

Anyway, the four words at the left say "Happy new year", the giant word in the back says "rat", and yes, that IS my Chinese name. Written illegibly, as usual. :3

So yes. Happy new year! 新年快乐!

...and now back to school work. -_____-

I know what you mean by the 'cursive'. But I think it's hard for anyone who hasn't really gone through the mill with the whole traditional brush technique stuff...

i can read xin nian kuai but not le. but i don't know simplified lol so maybe thats why. :) the mouse is very cute!!
